IMMACULATE CHOMPERS

Today was a magnificent day in the Florida wetlands, with hundreds upon hundreds of wading birds, ducks, and birds of prey finding their way into my frames. But the king of the wetlands, the American alligator, was the star of the show, with this impressive set of immaculately clean teeth. Never have I seen one with such uniformly sparkly whites. American alligators are incredibly important to the health and vitality of the ecosystems in which they reside. Many people might not realize that we rely on our wetlands, and their health, for our own drinking water. We therefore rely on the American alligator, and would do well to acknowledge and remember that.
