Genesee Eyrie 2023

Genesee Eyrie 2023 was a fun watch on the afternoon of March 15, 2023. The one here arriving had been perched to the left of the nest for quite awhile, until the eagle in the nest left. This one then flew off its perch, which I knew it would do because the eggs aren't uncovered for very long. It did a quick loop over the woods behind me, and came in more directly to the most open part of the nest. What a wingspan, wow.
