East of Dubois on Hwy 267 to Rd 257 south to Trail Lake Ranch trailhead. Take the Glacier Trail to the Downs Fork Trail. This trail follows up Downs Fork - keep going past the end of the trail to a series of small lakes that locals call the Blueberry Lakes. You will have to cross the river a couple of times so bring a pair of sturdy sandals and a strong constitution - it is a glacial meltwater stream.
Bears Tooth is in a remote portion of the Wind River Range near the headwater of Downs Fork. These small lakes are mirror still in the morning providing the perfect foreground for reflections of the picturesque peak.
