Just as the sun was getting ready to go down, I arrived at one of my favorite spots on the Puyallup River for my evening walk. I waded through one "leg" of the river to get to the sandbar in the middle. As you walk towards the mountain, the river bends and the most amazing view is placed directly in your path. I was very happy to have my camera with me. This is by far my favorite view of Mount Rainier. Since the river flooded and they built rock walls on both banks, you can no longer get to this location, it's all under water. I miss my long walks here, but am thankful to have captured the perfect image exactly how I'll always remember the beauty of those long walks by the river.
