Sand Wash Basin, Colorado. So, heads down and drinking worked out to my advantage! Lovely natural light and background resulted in little editing. Canon 7D Mark II Canon 70-200/f2.8. Exposure: f5 1/800 /ISO 100.

Biography
As a photographer and horse lover, my passion is to photograph the arduous lives of America’s wild horses. In an effort to raise awareness, I share thematic exhibitions portraying these iconic figures in their daily routines. For me, the true beauty of these horses lies in their spirit and perseverance. and it is this beauty that I want to bring to the surface in hopes that the viewer will look closer at the story that lives within the image. It is a story that needs to be told, and heard, if there is to be any future for these noble creatures outside of a photograph.
Sand Wash Basin, Colorado. Project: Thematic Exhibit. Horses spend the majority of their time grazing, so it takes patience trying to obtain shots of them doing anything else but eating! I like to use textures when editing, as the backgrounds are often distracting, and I want the viewer focused solely on the horse. Canon 7D Mark II Canon 70-200/f2.8. Exposure: f6.3 1/800 /ISO200.
