Sand Creek/Ridgeland, Wisconsin. The weather was very unsettled and numerous storm cells were around the area that day. Lighting was a challenge, at the time of taking the photo the sun was out in full force. When I was preparing for the shot, clouds were casting shadows on the trees in the distance and that shadowing reduced the definition of the trees. Nikon D3300, VR18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G. Exposure: 18mm, ISO 100, 1/640s, f/5.6.

Biography

Photography has always been a passion of mine since receiving my first camera as a gift. It is my goal to capture the seemingly simple and mundane things in everyday life and give people the opportunity to see the world around them differently.
