A brief hike from either pull out for Lehardy Rapids viewing.
I had attempted this shot in 1995 using film with unsatisfactory results based on the lim itations of film and what I had envisioned. After my converting to a digtial camera I re-shot the action by pusing the ISO to 640 to 'freeze' the trout in mid air over the falls. The time of day is late at, about 8 pm. This is when the fish become more active in jumping the rapid and an extreme low angle of the sun through trees.
