A remote strech of the Yellow Breeches creek.
This was one of the first photos I took with my Nikon D90. It was taken in full auto mode in the late afternoon, facing eastward. I haven't worked with an SLR for nearly 23 years (and even then it was very occasional). I'm looking forward to digital photography becoming a very serious hobby in the years ahead.
A pic from a semi-remote area on the Yellow Breeches Creek in south central PA, near my house. I like the peacfulness of the creek at this location, how it opens up for a stretch but is still remote. I also liked the reflectiveness of the creek as it caught some of the colors and tones of its surroundings and drew my attention to the point where the stream bends and disappears from sight.
