On day 1 of a 3 day camping trip to Mount Charleston, I noticed a hummingbird farming its territory, coming back to a particular flower on a number of occassions. Setting my camera on a tripod with a rmote shutter release, a comfortable chair and copious amounts of good coffee, I held the focus on the flower with the remote shutter release and simply waited. Over the course of a couple of hours, whenever the hummingbird came into focus, I released the shutter, capturing a sequence of very intimate photos. Keep in mind that the flower is less than 1/2 an inch across!!
