From Port Angeles, drive to the entrance of Olympic National Park, and follow the road to the Sol Duc Springs area.
A tributary to the Sol Duc River meanders through douglas fir and western hemlock, flanked by ferns, moss and lichens. Shutter Speed: 4 Seconds Aperture: f/16 ISO: 40
For this image, I chose a cloudy day to shoot, so I could capture even light throughout the entire scene. A long enough exposure was made to enhance the colors of the forest, and the movement of the silky flowing water.
