I made this image last fall. It had been raining the day before. The weather forecast called for clearing and cold temperatures over night. I was hoping a clear, cold night might mean fog on the lake. I arrived early in the morning to find fog on the lake as I'd hoped. I searched for a complimentary foreground the day before and just hoped that the wind wouldn't ruin it. Luckily it was nice and calm. This was a straight forward shot without a lot of contrast to contend with. Post processing was minimal, just normal dodging, burning, Raw file conversions adjustments and a couple of adjustment layers in photoshop.
