North East Tacoma, near the Puyallup River on Pioneer Road.
I followed this next pair all four months, from beginning of nesting to when the Eaglets flew out the first time. This is the full story: http://1-4u-computer-graphics.com/EAGLES.htm
This nesting pair is on guard for intruders near their nest. They were screaming at the nesting blue Heron's about 500 yards from where they were and I think the pair was telling them to keep their distance. The Blue Herons, about 15 of them, flew everywhere BUT the Eagle's territory. The couples airspace was empty. She is building up the nest, getting ready to lay eggs.
