The colours kept on coming after sunrise at Narrabeen beach, north of Sydney. Mornings like this make you feel at peace. Sunrise had already happened, but this goes to show that you should never just pack up once the sun is up. I saw the clouds would soon block the newly risen sun, so I quickly grabbed my gear and moved out to the headland. The channel between the rocks made more a wonderful leading line out to sea where the sun and rain clouds created complimentary colours on the horizon. I used a ND Grad filter on the sky. I made slight increases to shadows, whites, clarity and vibrance. I lowered the highlights to lessen the impact of the bright sun shining through.
