Photo taken on October 3, 2012 while on a trip to capture the Fall Colors of the Tetons and lighting in Yellowstone. This was taken before the sun comes up over the horizon, again allowing a scene with less bright and dark contrasts. A long exposure with the camera set on a tripod in vertical position, and panned for seven exposures, later stitched together in Photoshop. When there are no beautiful clouds during sunrise or sunset, I often hone in on the land features and the colors the twilight gives. I came here three times, October being the best light with some clouds softening the scene. In June the lighting was completely flat with less color.
