The migration of masses of animals is a spectacle that one will never forget. Go and see it if you can, before It's gone. Tanzania has been, and is currently, considering building a road to access the west that will cut across the migration route and is likely to destroy this World Heritage Site.
The photo was taken in mid February on the Serengeti Plain as the Wildebeest start their annual migration north to the Maasi Mara in Kenya following the rains and the grass. A slow shutter speed was used to emphasize movement and the clouds of dust that have the consistency of talcum powder.
