The Cuiabá River is a Brazilian river in the western state of Mato Grosso that flows in the Río de la Plata Basin. It is a tributary of the São Lourenço River.
The two Giant River Otters took time out from their search for fish to eat, to watch the gathering tourists. They seemed as curious about us as we were about them. We were staying on a flotel, a floating hotel, anchored near where we would locate 23 different jaguars and many illusive Giant River Otters, always in groups.
