One of the items on my photography list was to photograph a grizzly bear. I was lucky enough to be able to cross that item off the list during my trip to Alaska this past June. We were driving around in Denali National Park when we noticed this mother grizzly and her cub no more than 50 feet off the side of the road. I was fortunate enough to be this close, as I left my 100-400mm lens at home and only had my 24-105mm lens with me. We stopped for about 10 minutes to just watch as the two of them grazed on the flowers and grass.
