Photo taken with a Nikon D4 camera, 200~400/f4 lens set at 290mm, f6.3 aperture and 1/5000 second, ISO-5000.
I was in a blind patiently waiting/hoping birds would come to particular perch which had a little bird feed (hidden) to help attract them. As they come in I would fire off a burst in hopes of getting the image I had imagined. These two female blackbirds appear to be in dispute as to who wants the perch most. The idea was to shoot at a very high shutter speed, at least 1/5000 second, set camera to continuous high-speed release mode, and have a little luck. Many of my images came up with no bird(s) in the image, but it was fun trying to get the right action photo.
