A red fox rests in a grassy prairie. I recently took a 1,000-mile road trip through Washington State with hopes of photographing wild red foxes. Prior to the trip, I had heard that the difference between a professional photographer and an amateur, is that professionals make photos while amateurs take photos. I thought this trip would be a perfect time to practice making an image. Now, before I say anything else, I did not come back with the image I drew out. This was an image I was able to capture while in the field.
