These two Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep were dueling it out for a couple of hours. I wasn't sure why as there were no ewes in the area and they were the only two present in the North Fork of the Shoshone Canyon. They looked tired and that was when I realized one of them was slowing down. I looked directly his way when he connected with my gaze and stopped to look right through the horn of the other ram. Immediately following this exchange of glances, the ram walked away from the battle, giving the foreground ram the win.
