Head west from interstate 15 on state highway 193 and you will end up at Antelope Island State Park. It's 7 miles across a causeway before you reach the island.
Take plenty of water if your hiking, and bring bug spray and a no'seeum net in the spring if the outside temperature hasn't reached 90 degrees for a few days. They are gone after a few hot days.
While working as a volunteer on the trail patrol on Antelope Island in Utah, I notice this male pronghorn walking slowly towards it's youngster. He had a small tuft of grass in his mouth which the little one walked up and took from him. It's always nice to be in the right place at the right time.
