When driving around the Oceanside Harbor, if you stop in the Jolly Roger Restaurant Parking Lot, the birds are nesting in all of the trees.
Some people are talking about cutting down some of the trees that look dead, but the birds have built their nests in these trees for years.
I love to watch the birds in the trees at Oceanside Harbor in the spring. It seems the birds are still active in August. This Juvenile Night Heron had just landed at the top of the tree, and was flapping it's wings. I got this shot during the flapping. My camera is Canon 70D with Tamron Lens 18-400.
