Venice Beach, CA. I just had my camera cleaned and I hadn't realized they put all my settings back to default as I was rushing to beat the sun's departure below the horizon. I finally was able to get my settings together ... it felt like I was on a chase in a movie playing beat the clock and of course I did—in our own stories we are always the hero. Sony A7, 24-240mm. Exposure: ISO 100, 240mm, f13, 1/100 sec.

Biography

I am my company and I LOVE IT! Appeal Photo’s mission is to help commercial spaces (think hotels, cruises and healthcare facilities) create an exceptional visual experience through the vibrancy of photography. We are a consortium of artists with an adventurous spirit. Our images are produced on metal—dynamic to the eye and wondrous to behold! A great image lifts the spirit—transforming the mundane to the exceptional—and that's what we do for commercial spaces. We love what we do and if you'd like to join us go to www.appealphotos.com and get in touch! Cheers.

The Netherlands. The light was turning flat and gross—I believe it was during Holland's “spring break,”so capturing great images sans people was a challenge. I believe I used a flash. Sony A7R11 Zeiss/Sony 16-35mm. Exposure: ISO 100, 16mm, 0ev, 1/125 sec., f10.
