What’s more inspiring in the winter than a black-and-white photo of El Capitan? Anthony Bonafede made this photo of the Yosemite National Park icon after the season’s first snow. “This was taken during fall just after the first snow in Yosemite National Park. Standing there in the moment, the snow covered rocks with El Capitan lit by the morning sun, I knew I would make this a back-and-white image.” He used a Canon EOS 7D and a Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L lens.
