Sending Well-Wishes To Jack Dykinga

 

 

OP readers know Jack Dykinga as one of the preeminent nature photographers of all time. We’ve featured him many times, and he’s probably had more covers than any other photographer. Today, I learned that Jack is in the hospital awaiting a double lung transplant as he fights a chronic lung disease, Ideopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.

He and Dykinga are close friends and business partners, and Justin describes Jack as being in good spirits, though bored and frustrated as he’s stuck in the hospital. I’m looking forward to seeing Jack up and on his feet, camera slung over his shoulder, soon.
